Funktracker (latest version 1.08d) is a digital audio editor used to create music for demos. It was written in 386 Protected Mode assembler, and used Adam Seychell’s DOS32 extender (Note: DOS extenders were a ‘pre-Windows95′ utility that allowed software to take advantage of modern PC processors). It will played through most popular cards of the day, and could interface with a MIDI keyboard.

A year later (about the time Windows 95 was released), I abandoned MSDOS and switched over to Linux. I then ported Funktracker to Unix and released it under a new named called Fucktracker Gold
